Looking for a high-utility, engaging keynote speaker for your national group or conference?

Thanks to the relationships I have built with the wonderful folks in the Northeast Ohio community through work for my company, SACS Consulting and Investigative Services, Inc. , most people know me as the security and training guy. Perhaps you’ve heard me speak locally to groups like the Cleveland Clinic Akron General Community Advisory Council, and numerous chambers of commerce. I also speak regionally and nationally on a wide variety of human resources and security topics to organizations like The National Association of Certified Health Care Business Consultants, TASA Expert Witness Advisory and Referral Services, and security technology companies like Evolv.

Expertise and motivation

Many of my presentation topics center on the areas in which both my firm and I have expertise. My topics enlighten, inform and move audiences into taking action on critical issues like workplace risks, substance abuse, and security. I also address societal threats coming from a growing population dealing with rage.

But I have also created a number of motivational presentation topics like The YOU in Business and Harnessing the Power of the Law of Attraction. Each of these topics has import and resonance for our times, whether I am speaking to people at a local company’s or business networking group’s lunch and learn, or addressing a national conference as their keynote speaker.

While my audiences are chiefly comprised of business people, we’re also all human beings! It’s always a good idea to look at these challenging personal topics TOGETHER. Collectively, we can remind ourselves how we can be our best, for our own and our communities’ sakes.

Hot topics

More and more, many people with whom I have the pleasure of connecting are concerned about the increase in societal aggression and violence. They find themselves faced with daily challenges that this worrisome trend poses to them, their employees, and family members. Sadly, a majority feel there is always a looming potential to be threatened, every day, in some way or other. Naturally, people are also clamoring to know WHY this increase in negative culture is happening. And in the face of all that, people want to know how they can excel, rather than merely survive, in these challenging times, both personally and professionally.

These are universal feelings. As such, all of the topics on which I speak are useful to people and companies nationwide.

Indeed, one of my favorite presentation topics right now is “Why Is America So Angry?” It’s at the top of my list because it means something that people are asking a most important question: It’s not just THAT we are experiencing an epidemic of aggression, violence, negativity, etc. that is important, it’s that we need to know WHY in order to try and change that trend. Without understanding why it’s happening, we cannot fix it. By digging into the why in a group setting, I can help people both feel less alone in their fears, and that they (indeed, each of us) are an important piece of the solution.

High customization, high value

One of the things I love about my audiences is that they are not just looking to fill a slot in an event calendar. Every group I speak to wants a presenter that understands how to bring knowledge, experience and energy to the presentation in an engaging way. Audiences also want to hear stories with meaningful examples of the material being delivered. A great presenter understands that it’s what they say BETWEEN the PowerPoint slides that makes or breaks their presentation. I make sure to bring the whole package!

You may be wondering whether I am able to tailor my presentations for different audiences. Absolutely! In preparing a customized presentation, I do homework to learn about the audience and the specific challenges for their industry. In the process, I seek out people in that industry and ask them questions that will provide me with a deeper background.

I recently customized a presentation for a group of real estate agents. Through my research and inquiries, I discovered that real estate agents tend to experience security risks at a greater frequency than other professions. This is in part because of how often they are alone when they meet people who are interested in purchasing property. So as part of my presentation for the realtors, I created and incorporated a security process for them to use when showing empty properties, providing them with new tools to do their jobs more safely.

Supporting professionals in Northeast Ohio and beyond!

It’s equally motivating to ME as well, to get to meet and engage with a wide variety of professionals. From nonprofit leaders to security personnel, from local communities to national associations, from support services agencies’ continuing education seminars to industry trade shows and corporate conventions, I really enjoy learning about and getting to serve so many different kinds of folks, and supporting them to excel in their professional and personal endeavors. With my expansive list of topics, it’s easy for me to create opportunities for learning for people across a great number of industries. As the keynote speaker for national conferences, your regional training or professional education event, I bring my best self and decades of experience. Whether I’m presenting in California, Texas, Florida, Canada, or right here in Northeast Ohio, it’s thrilling to get the kind of feedback that encourages me to continue to do my best as well.
